While not as revolutionary as a quantum computer a ballistic computer would
require a new architecture. Very recently a prototype ballistic chip has
been made that operates many thousands of times faster than any conventional
computer chip while producing less heat. Nobody has a precise measurement of
exactly how fast it is because nobody has test equipment that works in the
