I would like to apologize to Eliezer for my suggestion in a previous email that
his failure to publish transcripts of his AI Box experiments is the result of
dishonesty on his part. Sorry. I read your earlier remarks on the subject of
why you didn't publish transcripts, and I accept your point.
Incedentally, I made up my mind to apologize to Eliezer before the third AI Box
experiment, and my decision to write this has nothing to do with the experiment
(which came as something of a surprise to me).
I hope to soon have my essay on exploits available. Vassar, if you're reading
this, don't think I've given up yet.
