The 3 laws make entertaining stories but are hardly a blueprint for our
future policy. It is one thing to write a story about the laws of
Robotics and say they are as unbreakable as the laws of Physics; it is
quite another thing to actually produce them. To make such laws work
you’d have to figure out a way to outsmart something a hundred or a
thousand times as smart as you are, and to say the least, that would not
be easy.
