Respect of one's elders?

We can't even teach our own children that.

Thanks to the people who drew attention to Theodore Sturgeon's book
"More than human". It's a great read and better still raises some really
important ideas.

What do people think of Sturgeon's ethical strategy/guidelines for
beings that are more capable/powerful than humans (developed in Part
3)??

He recommended an ethic of "reverence for your [evolutionary] sources
and your posterity" (ie. ones antecedents and decendents).

Cheers, Philip
