"The Truth Machine" dovetails quite nicely with one of Halperin's other
books: "The First Immortal", which is about the successful implimentation of
cryonics and of reanimation technology, on a large scale. Halperin is
mediocre in his character development and descriptive prose, but very good
in the way he plays-out his ideas. Both books are well worth reading, and I
recommend them too.
