Just to confirm: Yes, Christian Rovner is the second person to take on
the Singularity as a full-time job, and he is SIAI's new Volunteer
Coordinator. The idea behind this job is that Chris will keep track of
any ongoing or proposed Singularity projects, and that if you're looking
to volunteer for the Singularity you can send Chris your name and a
description of what skills you have to contribute, and Chris will try to
find a place for you, assign you a specific open task on a project if
possible, and nag you until you finish whatever it is you offered to do.
Please bear with Chris and don't expect him to be instantly perfect at his
new position. As we all know, *total* perfection is very hard to achieve,
requiring weeks or even months of practice.
