Your definition of "rationality" is clearly different from common
usage, and from Gordon Worley's and James Rogers' usage in this thread.
Perhaps "Mind" or "Mindness" would be a better fit for what you're
trying to describe. The Universe appears to have been designed for
evolving complex ("mindful") systems. Gregory Bateson and his _Steps
to an Ecology of Mind_ is relevant here.
