My favorite data structures are already implemented in java which borrowed
heavily (except for syntax) from Smalltalk which was probably my favorite
programming environment.

Anyway the discussion of programming languages is not really relevant to
the goals of this list, and I would rather discuss issues a level or two
more abstract - at least on the level of algorithms and behavior.
