What's wrong with monetizing the prehuman interim applications of an AI
project? And where did the word "transhuman" appear in Peter Voss's
post? Knowing Peter Voss, it's pretty easy to guess that he's thinking
about reaching for transhumanity at some point in his company's lifetime,
but I doubt most strongly that he thinks a transhuman sentience would
permit verself to be packaged and sold. Though of course Peter Voss can
speak for himself in this.

I won't speak for Peter, but my view is that a transhuman sentience *might
well*
permit itself to be bought and sold, because it just might not give a shit
about
these petty little human-society categories of ours.... It might be so
little effort
for it to do some commercial work for Peter or Ben, that it might do it out
of some
kind of transhuman affection for its creators.... Who knows? The future is
wiiiiiiiiide open, my friend...
