A. R. Luria, professor of Psychology, University of Moscow, wrote a
fascinating book, The Mind of a Mnemonist : A Little Book about a Vast
Memory, describing a person with "limitless memory" and synesthesia. "S"
mentally attached numbers and another data to various locations throughout
Moscow. I'm wondering if this kind of associational tagging would have
value?
