Agreed. Tipler is misusing his own Anthropics again. Anthropic reasoning (cosmological deductions based upon the known existence of consciousness), is useful in forums where there is really no other successful strategy to attain knowledge. Here, we have particle accelerators and a whole lotta GUT/TOE candidates among other info sources. Anthropics does not belong here.
