A series of lectures downloadable, by professor Christof Koch at
Caltech. 18 one-hour lectures. Covering various aspects of the
neurology and philosophy of consciousness, at a fairly basic level, at
least in the first lecture. (Basic enough to be tedious for those
already very familiar with the subject.) He has a moderate German
accent, and speaks very quickly, but is otherwise a pretty engaging
speaker. In the first lecture, he sympathises with Chalmers and is
skeptical of Penrose, and rambles on for a bit about why he disagrees
so much with Dennet, so I'm sure this viewpoint will color the rest of
the series to a degree.
