Well, if you want to interpret his statement that way, you at least need to
make the exception "Except for transhumans who were created (or who advanced
to transhumanity) via a process that has been proven to have a very high
odds of leading to a Friendly transhuman."
With this emendation, I'd say that your interpretation of the implication of
Eliezer's words is a fair one. However, I also suspect this is not what he
really meant, and he just didn't choose all his words perfectly in this
case...
