How relevant are the inane foibles and failings of a person who has
only been around mere decades to their potential development if they
had unlimited lifespan? Condemning a person as unworthy for their
current fumbles seems a bit heay handed and arbitrary to me. We know
very littile about ourselves and our development potential across time
and improving knowledge and technology.
On the other hand I admit it is sometimes difficult to get excited
about offering immortality to various types of humans I see around me.
But then I do a bit of introspection ond remembering of my own
foibles. We are all somewhat deranged chimps on this bus. Whether
we become more is not a matter of weeding out all those not to our
personal liking.
