I was/am involved in the initial prototype and design of
the AGISIM world and one design decision I made
and will hopefully be maintained is a Interaction Channel
Proxy (ICProxy). This is what Novamente will hook up to, and
this proxy will allow Novamente to choose from a
variety of "interaction channels" which are dynamically
loaded libraries. The proxy will translate Novamente
commands into what ever is relevent for the interaction
channel being used, allowing Novamente to only have to
learn one interface but have access to a diverse range
of interaction channels.
Initially there will only be the sim world, but later there
could be a robot/real-world interaction channel
along with channels for web-browsing, and instant
