Wow, the insulting rhetoric from the SIAI "insiders" seems to be
escalating considerably of late.

A group of people whose opinions are considered unimportant --- Of course, it's expected that any technical project is going to have internal discussions that penetrate more deeply into technical matters than is possible in a more general forum. However, that doesn't mean that the insights of outsiders should be considered generically "unimportant." -- Ben
