About thirty seconds in to the preview for "I, Robot" (before "The Day
After Tomorrow", which BTW was a lot of fun) my gf and I turned to each
other and nearly simultaneously said, "Oh, they just made this up.
OK.".

The scary thing: I don't think either of us have even read the book. I
know I haven't. It was *blatantly* obvious that this wasn't Asimov,
simply by the bits of data I've picked up over the years about "I,
Robot" by being a sci-fi fan. It's *that* far from the original.

OTOH, this might be even better for usage as a Singularity FAI
springboard.
