Needless to say, the SIAI will /not/ be using your Puny Earth Science.
The bare /minimum/ capability likely to be used here is something like
the Starlight encrypted grid computing platform, which incorporates a
fast ACID transactional database with built in redundant clustering
and optional controlled cluster decoherence (plus various other
bleeding edge features) for realtime operation. The job is hard enough
without being lumbered with obsolete non-transparent bloatware.
