I see a few obvious possibilities here:

1.) It really is an [Eliza|Eliezer]-bot.
2.) It was constructed to illustrate a point.
3.) Scintillating discourse in the wee hours of the morning is a low
probability event for most humans.
4.) The posted conversation was cut out of a much larger context.
5.) It is a teaser to make you want to donate $25,000 for the Secret
Manuscript and Decoder Ring.
