An essay by one Greg Cochran suggesting that the concentration
of several hereditary nerve disorders among Ashkenazim is a result
of selection for intelligence. (He doesn't say sexual selection,
but that would make the most sense.)
I was reminded of the `law' proposed years ago on Extropians
to the effect that enhancements don't come for nothing.
