Interesting that the original recipient group SingularityAction at Yahoo
Groups does not exist any more.

What exactly was the intent of posting this anecdote to the group? Are you
concerned that there are SL<4 lurking in this group? Or you are concerned
about "us" lurking or even patronizing groups that are known to be
anti-Singularity (like SingularityAction?)

Away from email lists and into the real world, there is a difference between
being a spy and a fanatic. In this anecdotal case, I think the spies were
obviously not organized enough to realize that their fellow spies were in
fact keeping the terrorist organization afloat.

Do you know of any luddite spies that are in the Singularity Institute, and
are they regularly donating money? ;-)
