I am marshalling support here at Cycorp to address the deficiencies in
Cyc's progress towards AGI -- as you describe them.
You might submit a proposal for Darpa funding under the "Cognitive
Information Processing Technologies" program scheduled for 2003.
ARDA also has a program VACE for content extraction from video that might
suit your evolving framework.
