I scanned over the website before subscribing here, but now I will
start to study it. From the mature replies I got so far on this list

At the moment it is my preference to exchange information with
you both (provided you want that too), so I am very willing to
read whatever you can advise me, the more the better: I like completeness
and have no problems with large quantities of complex material, I only
have problems with incomplete data with many gaps.

In other words (read: what I really wanted to say) - it is to early
to choose between your project and his project; but I am very interested
to learn more about the approaches both of you take.
