My gut is that the dependence of intelligence on resources will be highly
nonlinear.
there's a phase transition when the resources are enough to allow practical
schema learning on the system's own cognition control schema
there may be other phase transitions as well
so a doubling of resources will lead to MORE than a doubling in raw
intelligence sometimes, and LESS than a doubling sometimes, depending on the
precise resource amount involved. This is the subtletly and the
frustratingness of nonlinearity.
