Most people have a hard enough time coming to grips with what they see
around them, let alone
what is potentially going to happen in the future!!
Of course, it cuts both ways -- many people who have a good grasp on what's
going to happen in the future, may have
a weaker than average grasp on practicalities of the present ;>
